Relax and Restore Retreat at Ratna Ling, Cazadero CA

I am delighted to return to Ratna Ling to sing at a luscious retreat at this incredibly gorgeous retreat center in the hills of western Sonoma County, about 90 minutes north of San Francisco. I’ll be singing Saturday morning and my good friend Miyu Tamamura will be offering crystal healing bowls on Saturday evening; lots of other restorative time too.

This yoga class is designed for all levels, incorporating breathing, stretching, fluid movements, and stillness. The postures and techniques help to stabilize and calm the nervous system and tone the organs, bringing more ease and circulation throughout the body. You can expect to feel more relaxed and aware from this yoga practice.
MANTRA MEDITATION (KIRTAN)
Enjoy the vocal and physical bliss of chanting and singing sacred mantras in community. Kirtan is the congregational singing of holy names. It is usually in a call-and-response format and a great way to train the mind, body, and speech
This class incorporates resting postures on the ground that utilize multiple props for added support. Allow yourself to rest and experience the art of relaxation. Both teachers will offer support and hands-on assistance to help you fall into a state of peace.
Learn techniques to love and care for your body. This session will be guided by a Massage Therapist, who will give you tools to work with pain, tension, tightness, or blockage in the body.
Enjoy and relax to the sounds of harmonizing bowls and serene musical instruments. Allow the mind and body to soften, as your spirit travels to restful and ethereal realms. Participants will lay down for most of the practice, and/or be guided through restorative postures with supportive props.
YOGA & MEDITATION
Learn to use yoga as a means to quiet the mind and come into stillness. This final class will bring all of your learning together and bring it home with you.
Courtney has been practicing yoga for 15 years and following Tibetan Buddhist practices for 10 years. She is certified in Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and a Reiki Master. A nature lover and certified permaculturist, Courtney aspires to integrate the rhythms of nature and spirit into her life and classes.

Adam Bauer travels the globe sharing the heart-expanding beauty of Kirtan. From Bhakti Fest and Wanderlust to more intimate festivals, ashrams and yoga studios, Adam enchants and inspires listeners with his deep, soulful presence wherever he goes.
