Living Tantra Fall Immersion with Adam Bauer & Christine Mason | Big Island Hawaiʻi

November 1–22, 2026
Sundari Gardens · Kalapana, Big Island of Hawaiʻi
This November, I’ll return to Sundari Gardens on Hawaiʻi Island as part of my friend Christine Mason’s Living Tantra Fall Immersion—three weeks of embodied practice, teaching, community, restoration, and direct relationship with the living world.
The immersion takes place from November 1–22 in Kalapana on the Big Island. You’re welcome to attend one week, combine two weeks, or stay for the entire three-week arc. Each week offers its own focus while building upon the practices and insights of the previous week.
Week 1 · November 1–7
Bhakti Tantra: Breath & the Energy Body
Led by Christine Marie Mason with Richard Bock and additional guest teachers, the first week centers on breath, the energy body, and an integrated reset for the whole system.
For those participating in the teacher track, the week also includes training in guiding breath practices and developing greater sensitivity to bodies and energetic patterns. Excursions include visits to the caves and the Temple.
Week 2 · November 8–15
Bhakti Tantra: Rasa & Relating
The second week explores rasa—the felt essence or flavor of experience—along with relationship, presence, and the subtle qualities that shape how we meet one another.
The teacher track includes a practicum in embodied leadership and offering spiritual guidance that supports another person’s sovereignty. Excursions include the Temple of Mu and the lava fields. Christine leads the week with guest teachers.
Week 3 · November 16–22
Nature & the I Ching with Adam Bauer
I’ll lead the culminating week: an immersion in the ecospiritual wisdom of the I Ching, held in direct relationship with the extraordinary landscape of Hawaiʻi Island.
The I Ching is more than an ancient book of divination. It is a living study of change, timing, pattern, and right relationship. Through teaching, contemplation, conversation, practical readings, and sustained attention to the natural world, we’ll explore how its wisdom can help us meet uncertainty and change with greater awareness and clarity.
No previous experience with the I Ching is required. Christine will support me throughout the week.
Life at Sundari
Sundari is a ten-acre retreat sanctuary on the Puna coast, surrounded by tropical gardens, a food forest, ponds, walking paths, and the elemental landscape of Hawaiʻi Island. The property includes guest houses and cabins, an open-air yoga shala, treatment spaces, and a large pool and spa.
The daily rhythm includes morning practice, midday teaching, optional teacher-training sessions, restorative time, and several evening programs each week. Song circles, ecstatic dance, ceremonies, guest offerings, field trips, beach time, massage, bodywork, and other wellness services may also be available.
Each week earns 25 Living Tantra certification credits, and yoga teachers may receive Yoga Alliance continuing education hours through YACEP. Participants registering for two or three weeks receive a 10% discount.
Whether you feel called to join the full immersion, one of the first two weeks, or my week devoted to Nature and the I Ching, I would be delighted to share this time and place with you.
