Instant download of ‘I Am Dying’ — MP3 and hi-res WAV.
The first song from Life + Death is “I Am Dying”
An intimate love song to death, this unique song came to Adam in a dream late one night: the chorus, verses and melody fully formed, singing itself into the world from the invisible realm. Outside, a sound bath of Hawaiian coqui frogs; a few rainy nights later Adam recorded them, so they’re on the track just as they were that first night. It’s a nine-minute, first-person meditation on the ultimate journey we all will take one day — and on everything we must release before we leave.
