Antique Shiva Murti

This marvelous antique Shiva statue is truly one of a kind. Weathered by age, the elements, and decades of puja worship, this Shiva radiates a preternatural energy. This is one of the last few pieces left from a collection of antique murtis I found in North India almost 20 years ago. If these ever fall, chip or break, they are considered ineligible for temple worship and are decommissioned and retired from service–which is how I was able to find them along my travels in Rajasthan and Delhi.  Measures 11″ x 6″ x 4″
